Musky fishing has been exceptional the past few years, with many beautiful fish being caught and released. Bass fishing activity continues strong in Boy Bay. Walleye fishing is back and stronger than ever. Many fish are being caught within and outside the slot. The Department of Natural Resources' five point plan, which included stocking, cormorant reduction and habitat restoration, has been very successful. It even surprised them at how well it worked. We should also mention the perch are plentiful as are crappies in the spring and fall. Bottom line is that Leech Lake affords a memorable fishing experience. Even if you don't ever catch a trophy fish, you will go home with wonderful memories of time spent with your family or your fishing buddies.

nationally recognized gamefish lake of 110,000 acres, Leech Lake offers some of the best
fishing in the Midwest.
Sugar Point has a large
protected harbor offering full gas and bait services. We offer a wide choice of
rental boat and motor combinations, or a slip for your own boat. A concrete launching ramp
is located on the grounds. Besides fishing, the lake offers a wide range of water
activities, from waterskiing to exploring.
